What is the Sprinter Social Connection Groups?
Sprinter Social Connection Groups are designed to support socialization, communication, play and imagination in children with autism. The group focuses on building relationships with typical peers and siblings through mutually engaging experiences in natural settings. In addition, it helps physical development and social emotional regulation.
Our Sprinter Social Connection Groups are NOT curriculum based, but are organically designed to have children learn and develop social skills in an inclusive and welcoming setting created by parents for their children. We do not force children and their parents to engage in activities, but simply accommodate the child where they are in their development. Our organizations develops programming through the assistance of parent. While children are learning to be social parents are learning and developing strategies that accommodate the need of their child.
Sprinter Social Connection Groups are designed to support:
- Socialization/Social Conditioning.
- Social language and communication.
- Play and imagination.
- Builds relationships with typical peers and siblings.
